Different year engine

Hey guys I blew my engine and am in the process of getting it fixed, hopefully I will be getting it back tomorrow, the engine is from a 87 n/a and my engine was a 88 n/a. Will there be any difference except for the year? Thanks

Depends on when the 87 was made. The 87 models used different injectors than the 87.5 and 88 models.

The block however is the same.
