Differences of jdm s5 turbo

What are the differences between jdm s5 turbo vs a reg s5 turbo?

Can I just bolt the jdm s5 turbo, do I need any tuning?

there are a lot of JDM turbos out there because people import a lot of s5 JDM engines. USDM S5 T2 engines are pretty rare.

im doing a s5 turbo swap into my car theres a good thread on it, you should def read it. i thought you could just get a jdm engine and throw it in, but apparently you need the usdm wiring harness and stuff
