Difference in power

I know that up to 1998, the Turbo II model had 182 hp, but in 1989 it was changed to 200 hp. What did Mazda do to the engine, anyone know?

The rotors are internal engine part. Major work to swap.

You can do some basic mods to an 87-88 TII and put it way above 200 hp.
