difference in na/t2 4.10 limites slip rears ?

difference in na/t2 4.10 limites slip rears ?

is there a difference between the 89-91 na and t2 rear 4.10 limited slip rear ends ? if so what and will an na rear work with a t2 drivetrain .. thanx

N/a's have a 7" ring gear, TII's have an 8" ring gear. They also have different flanges. Its all or nothing, unless you custom make some stuff.

Yep, thats it. Heres more pics if you want to see.

I hope to be coming down to jax soon, but I dont know which car Ill be driving. The vert needs some work before I can drive it, like a new top, and fix the pass side window. Ill make sure Brian tells you when Im coming down, if I dont tell you.

The only series 5 NA to come standard with a LSD was the GTUs and the gearing on that is 4.3 not the 4.1 like the T2. (although there is some rumor saying a few loaded with every option coupes in 91 had the 4.1 LSD rear ends as well- can't confirm that though.)

The T2 rear end was also designed with bigger halfshafts and a different driveshaft flange.
