does anyone have a quik answer to how to tell the difference between a s4 an s5 uim and lim???

yess they mate up to the shortblock completely differently
turbo or non-turbo?
On non-turbo, the VDI goes across the engine under the TB, while in S5 the VDI is on top, sorta. They look different, look at pics and you'll see what i mean. That's a shitty job of describing.

You only need to see each one once. (like I did) to see the major differences. I went to the junkyard to pull some parts and soon saw that the S4 intakes were different and much more labor intensive to remove.
