Difference between transmissions

Im going to be buying a TII transmission, but how do you tell by looking at it that its a TII trannt and not an NA?
Sorry if its a dumb question, but Id rather not buy an NA

easiest way is that the bellhousing on a TII trans unbolts where a NA trans bellhousing is one piece part of the trans itself.
