Difference between convertible and coupe exhaust?

What is the difference between the coupe and convertible exhaust. I'm looking at buying a used convertible cat replacement pipe and presilencer by Racing beat for my 86 coupe. Just curious if it bolts up with minor or no modifications.

My car has gutted cats, emissions deleted, 2 1/2 inch Y pipe and aftermarket mufflers. ACV blocked off and 6 ports running.

There's a slight difference in the bend of the downpipe section, but the inlet/outlet both end up in the same location as on a coupe.

So if I bought a convertible cat replacement pipe and presilencer it would bolt to my coupe? I guess the bend on the pipe is different to curve around some sort of extra plumbing on the vert?

You can put convertible specific exhaust parts on a coupe, but not always vice versa. The convertible has an extra crossmember up front that aftermarket downpipes don't always clear.

Yeah I google imaged some pictures of them both to compare. The vert pipe looks like spaghetti compared to the coupes.
