OK, so I keep hearing about restoring the differential on the 87/88 Turbo II by making "shims" out of a Coke can. Is this for real ans if so, why aren't there any threads out there on this one? Can someone ellaborate please?

There's actually a good thread(s) about setting up the NA diff (essentially the same, just smaller) by "FatherLeadFoot" on the miata.net forum. Look it up.

LOL that thread is hilarious! Let's see, you've got the Brake Kleen, Pepsi, and the Colt 45 shim option! Well, no Colt 45 shim yet but I've got to add the "Billy Dee" option for my peeps! Have you used this shim method, Black91n/a?
