Diff question - 100km/h (60mph) cruise rpm?

hey everyone i am trying to find out what is typical rpm for cruising at 100km/h or 60mph in 5th gear?
I have a S5 turbo with 17" rims and as far as i know a standard diff. The thing is at 100km/h the car is doing 3000rpm in 5th gear.
Does this sound like a standard diff or a modified one?
What do others cars cruise at?
I know there could be a lot a variables for rpm including modified diff or gearbox or wheel size, but any info would help.
cheers

In my vert(91) I am doing 65mph in 5th at 3k on the tach and that is GPS readings(of my speed). N/A engine, Tii trans, N/A 4.1 ratio differential.
