Dies after AWS idle

Hey everyone, I have an 88 vert. I just replaced my 5th and 6th port actuators and when I started it after the replacement It does the 3k idle for 20 seconds and when it drops idle it will die, and smelled like fuel. Any ideas? I checked all my vac lines and fuel lines and they are all good. I apologize if this has been covered I haven’t been able to find anything about it

welcome to the board.

i think you are probably looking for a vacuum leak. look for any hoses that may have been missed. also, check the edges of the manifold itself, make sure it hasn't cracked.

Still having this issue. I took the fuel line off after the fuel filter and it flows but does not seem like it’s a high fuel pressure. It seems ok when I test after the pump, could this be a filter problem or a fpr issue?

If you disconnect the AWS, will the car start at all?

Besides replacing the actuators did you do anything else? Was it only the actuators on the outside of the lower intake manifold?
