how to make this work as a half bumper? How do you install the half bumpers. Kinda never made sense to me on sevens due to have aggressive the angles are on are front bumpers.

You attach it so that the top of the half bumper sits right under the molding.

The B-Wave sure looks close, despite the FTP issue. Perhaps Extreme Dimensions could retool the mold to retain the FTP Lenses? You might try asking them about it, and possibly offer a group buy to give them some incentive?

I've already talked to several shops about the FTP, it actually works well with Fiberglass, yeah it might not be as strong to the point of binding it, but it only works to a point, my buddy just blew out his air damn on his seven that was FTP by tapping a curb.

I just saw a video of that RX-7 in wangan, using those really bright fog lights as head lights, or are those actual headlights? I personally love the look of normal head lights, so if you're an absolute speed buff and hate aftermarket lights (sorry RE, you'tr just not good looking on the FC) This seems like a good idea (if it's legal to have 2 sets of head lights)

In most states you have to have your headlights. You are also allowed to have two axillary lights ie:fog, driving. People are gonna hate me when i get that set up done too. I'm planning to run 6000-8000 hids in all 4

that kit doesn't eliminate the normal headlights well the one i want to make.

Sorry to bring back a dead thread, but I thought the original poster might like to know that the bumper is an Auto Garage TBK piece - You're looking at about 3Grand for the bumper itself from these guys:

Auto Garage TBK Parts

That piece is a custom one off piece. They also do front bumpers for old SA22C's, and other cars as well.

Update

I finally made it happened, I know it's been 10 years since the last communication on this thread! Just got another FC and wanted the Auto Garage TBK front bumper; which I can find for the slant nose Porsche, Mk4 Supra, FD3S, and SA22. Still got more refine work to do to make this fit 100% like shorten up the ends where it goes into the fenders and get the headlight/fog light housings installed.

That is some dedication.

I will say I enjoyed Initial D and Wangan Midnight (both the anime and the arcade games.) Those were very fun times.

I was also going to say That is some dedication. hahaha. From getting insulted for wanting something from a cartoon, to having it real life. Amazing.

Back in the day, some people were rather critical of those that liked Initial D and (to a much lesser known extent) Wangan Midnight. They are good shows, imho, fun for what they are.

I was always into cars as a kid, and Initial D in highschool got me into my first AE86 (though I never liked the american mad tyte drifter mentality) and eventually, my first RX-7. So, in a sense, you could say its responsible for giving me the best hobby I've ever had.

Update, we finally are getting the headlights in the lower half tonight. I got to do a little trimming at the fender arches to work as a lip kit and not a full bumper. That being said an Auto Garage TBK FC front bumper might of come to light, just wait for my buddy to go take a peak at it tomorrow. I'm thinking of having one of them 3d scanned to make a mold.

Hope you enjoyed it, there's a live action you can stream on YouTube too. Just doesn't get to the FC, but has a FD in it.

Is there a market if we 3D scan the 935 style bumper and make them as one peice/clean up a bit in the computer and include the headlight mounting kit? This all be done by Dream Chasers Garage in Washington.

I think so, the FC market is still a under devellopped one. same goes for the SA/FB.
