??? I know the GTU did not, GTUs did, and that the S4 GXL's did.

 

No S5 gxl dont have LSD

 

in was under the impression that in 91 you "could" order LSD as an option. so i guess technically it wouldn't be a GXL since 91 dind't have designated trim levels...but if you had leather and all options, it might be possible that a few came with it. i've still gotta jack mine up and see if it has it...

 

Nope, even 91 dont have it. If you look at the shop manual, it will tell you that the only NA that came with LSD was the ones with 4.3 rear end

 

Good thread. To Tmak -- What do you look for when you look under the 7? i have a 90 GXL and I know that when I launch I get TWO racing stripes of even length.

Spin one of your rear wheel, see if the other one goes the same direction. If it does, it is LSD

 

I know my car doesnt have a LSD, I was looking for one for it. I would prefer to stick with a S5 LSD unit, but since they only came on the GTUs, I see the chance of me finding one of those is quite slim. I am probably going to use the clutch-type LSD out of an S4 GXL.
