ok i removed all emission etc.
i was running a catch can (comes enclosed non vented)
ran one hose from oil filler neck and the other from the intermediate plate vent, both to catch can.

drove 1k miles what way with no boost (rebuilt motor)
now i drill a hole on the can and put in a filter so it can vent out the pressure and i also changed the oil.

i started up the car and noticed it was smoking, its never smoked before. made a small cloud which has to be oil cuz i dont dont fuel smoke moves away from the car that far before it goes away.

i started to rev it till like 3k rpms to see if it will clear up and it seems like it has alil.

did i screw anything up? or is this just cuz i vented the catch can?

 

well the few times my oil fill vent came off it did smoke a some, i generaly didnt notice because i just routed it though my intake

hows the engine vacume, oil have gas in it? if both are fine id say ur oil control rings are probably fine

 

maybe it has something to do with not using a check valve?
idk its weird that now all of a sudden its vented and it smokes, it was the frst startup since venting it.
