did i pay too much for my FC

i bought a white 1990 GXL with 160k miles, 5speed and motor was replaced with uknown miles. it runs good and drives fine. the paint is peeling but no rust, straight body. stereo does not work and neither do the power mirorrs, and wipers work sometimes, has leather seats but have tears in them. tires have about 3/32 tread left all around. i paid 1,550 for it, did i get ripped off?

Sounds good, cheack really close for rust though above your rear tag and wheel wells and bottoms of front fender , i didn't notice the rust on mine when i bough it but it doesn't really bother much but it did hide from me pretty well

Without even looking... no. The fact that you went through with the transaction shows that you valued that car more than the money you spent on it. There is no point in asking this question after you bought it, less you want to feel bad if someone says yes. Just enjoy it now and don't look back because these cars hold value like a you can hold a fish.

i think its a good find. its not what the value of what other people think its worth but what you think its worth . even though i paid $550.00 for my 86 with a 60 k motor new from mazda.i. i know i hit a deal . i had a guy at ntb offer me almost 3k for my 86 now that could get me into a t2 that needs a lil work. i maybe stupid but theres nothing like building something from nothing

I paid 1500 for my 91 with the exact same problems you listed plus a few more. After looking around for a month or so I found it to be the best deal.

good deal indeed we all have buyers remorse I do all the time. I paid 2500 for my 91 GXL minor rust here and there but new metal went in and now its all good top to bottom. I need to work on the engine bay but that wont happen until the engine dies hehe.
