you did not get a good deal unless the interior is mint and the exterior is perfect.

i wouldnt even bother asking that question... most people here will loudmouth that you overpaid.... 1500 for a car that runs and is in decent shape is GOOD no matter how you look at it... if it runs with no problems and longer than it takes to pay off the loan or at least get your moneys worth then it was a good deal... post pics of the car man lets see it... congrats on the purchase...

Honestly I dont think that is a good deal unless the interior/exterior is in pretty decent shape at least or other stock parts were replaced such as suspension/bushings etc... That's a lot of miles on the chassis.

If ll the reciepts are there, why not? Its a good deal, and its cool to tell everyone that your car has "that many miles" Be proud and enjoy a seven-full life.

yea he rebuilt most of the suspension and the interior isnt that bad for a 16 yr old car the exterior could use a paint job but other then that i think its all good

I got my 88 GTU with 130k miles for $1400 from a desperate seller.

You got an acceptable deal, but you could have gotten better.
