unless you lost compression you don't need to do a full rebuild. i cracked 2 irons prior to sevenstock, first was running borderline with pump gas capabilities running 18PSI with my stage 2 hybrid and the other was a boost spike after i fixed a wastegate issue. both times i just pulled the engine out and put it on the stand and pulled the rear iron off and replaced it only. second time around i didn't even pull the oil pan or exhaust manifold off, took maybe 30 minutes to do the repair after the engine was out and drove it 500 miles to LA the next day with no problems.

learned my lesson, now i'm going to install a methanol injection kit this week, even if the boost does spike the additional octane should be able to handle it unless it goes well over 25PSI. i also have my boost cut and revlimiter set now just for safety.
