did fc's ever come with an E-fan?
I was flipping through my factory manual today because I want to flush my coolant (it's probably the original coolant mixture since most people never have it changed), and it had a section for the mechanical fan, and one for an electrcal fan.
I thought all fc's came with a mechanical fan, but maybe there were a few that didn't .

yes only GXL and TII had it, FSM doesn't mention it at all, then it looks that your's is missing because all wiring and sensors are there... especialy when you're trying to find out why your car overheats. :-)))))

All FC's had a mechanical clutch fan, but an auxillary electric fan was standard on some models (can't remember which) and an optional extra on the others. It operates whenever the A/C is running or the coolant temp exceeds 207degF. It's covered in the cooling chapter of the FSM.
