Need ideas to make a bracket for my AFM...
Hey all, I put in my cold air box about three days ago and I love the look of the CF and the cone instead of that old Mazda box well I rand into some problems though but I put it in anyways. My problem is that I had to turn the AFM on its side for it to fit properly. First I tried it at a 45 degree angle but that made the car bog a lot then I just put it in at a 90 degree angle and that seems to work perfect. EXCEPT for when I hit a bump the AFM moves around amd I get a bog I want to make a bracket but don't know really where to start. If you all have any pics of how you get the AFM to sit still I would love to see them. Thanks

First make sure the AFM sits level. I can't see why it can't unless something hasn't been made right.
A bracket isn't too hard to make. Just get some flat steel or aluminium bar from a hardware store, find a suitable threaded hole in the body close to the AFM (there are several), cut and bend the bar to the required length and shape, drill holes at either end, fix one end under one of the AFM adaptor bolts and bolt the other end to the hole in the body.
