Question Diagnosis-Murder (me)

Hey whats up. I drive an '88 Rx7 Turbo, and here's whats goin on. I got the car back from the mechanics a couple weeks ago (had to get it smog legal), and I noticed that some of the intercooler tubing (we used radiator hose) was kinked, right before the intake. So for the past weeks I've had almost no boost, no brainer. Also, my throttle body is in dire need of a cleaning (I have that thing where the gas pedal is harder to push once the secondary throttle plates are engaged).
However, recently I've been having more problems. Heres what happens: The car starts alot rougher then it used to (I assume this is due to the throttle body issue). Once I get it going, it no longer holds an idle like it did last week. While driving, the further I push the gas pedal, the slower the car accelerates, and the whole time I have my foot on the gas, simultaneously the boost gauge needle climbs till the pedal is to the floor and the needle is as high as it can go. While this happens I think I can hear the turbo spooling up. Theres a big loss of power, and the car revs slower then usual. Then I'll park the car, turn it off, then back on again, and it runs like it did last week, no hesitation (for a while anyways, it usualy comes back eventualy down the road), and it revs fine.
So, once I fix the kink in the intercooler piping, and clean the throttle body, should I be ok? I'm just hoping nothing is busted. I'd appreciate it if anyone could tell me whats goin on.
