hope this helps

There are bolts under the hood along the top (easy to see)--there are 2 that are on the bottom of the fender just in front of the door. the tricky ones are two nuts that are holding the fender at the front on two studs that come off of the nose piece. You may have to use an extension and deep socket to get those two nuts off. Be careful not to bend the fender back too much while doing this as you may mess up your nose piece (from experience)

Anybody else? Did I miss anything?

There is one more bolt to remove that you have to open the door to access. And loosening a nut on the bottom inner part.

You are right. I forgot about the one where you have to open the door to get to it.

yeah the open the door nut, but theres also one inside the fender closer to the door in the middle. in order to get to it you have to pull back on the front of the fender and stick your arm in through the fender well towards the door under the plastic liner.

i just took mine off the other day. You will need a deep 10mm socket and a 12" extender for a rachet. I can't see it possible to get the thing off without the deep socket and extender... unless you like cutting bolts.

Question fender / door removal

Is far is I understand now you dont have to remove the door to remove a fender. But how is it the other way round? Because some screws of the door seem to be pretty unreachable with the fender still attached?!

greetings,

Harry

You can just take them out at the hinges? If you take out the door mounts, then I think you'll need to remove the fenders. But I'm not sure, I'll take a look at my FC later.

Nah, seems like some sort of epoxy or whatever it is but you'll have to torque that bolt a little more than the others. But it comes right off.
