Defi Water/Oil Temp gauge?

So which is it?

I went on RX7Store.net since I'm probably going with an all Defi gauge setup and noticed these two were "together."

I know how important water temp is but I've heard oil temps is always within around ~25 degrees of the water temp anyways (from what some guy said on the forum.) Is this true? And the reason why they are grouped "together?" Do I even need an oil temp gauge? Sorry for the noob questions.

If it matters, I already have a boost gauge. Then will get water temp, oil pressure, and finally EGT gauge when I get my car tuned with the Microtech LT8.

Thanks in advance!

I hope that's 25 degrees F and not C. My water temps sit right at 82C with my oil temp at about 88 to 92C, depending on if I've recently opened up the wastegate or not.

You must be looking at the Defi D-gauge. It's simply a gauge that says "TEMP" on it, so it can be used for either water or oil temperature. If you want to monitor both temperatures, you'd need two gauges.
