NJ dead engine help

so last weds i was driving home when i experienced a loss of power. i was doing about 85 down the highway when the motor just seemed to die. when i put the clutch in to down shift the motor just died. i pop started it at the bottom of the off ramp with around half power and anytime i stopped giving it throttle it wanted to die. finally came to a stop and she wouldnt start again.
i finally got her home and took a look at it. cant find my compression tester but did test by listening and have 3 good pulses from each front and rear rotors. i have spark and i think fuel. fuel can be smelled after cranking but i get no effort to start.
at one point when i pulled the leading front plug out fuel poured out of the pulg hole. so my friend and i came to the conclusion that i had a stuck injector. the primaries were suspect, so they were replaced with 2 spares i had (but unknown condition.) still no could not get it to start.
im out of ideas on what it could be, any help would be nice

cliffs:
lost power on highway
died on side streets
have spark and can hear compression
have fuel as far as i can tell
out of ideas

Thanks
Jason

Time to bite the bullet and compression test it. It hurts to think your engine is blown, but it does happen.

Did you deflood it after you changed the injectors out?

verify compression and fuel pressure.
