Dashboard Wire Harness

Hello,
I need to know if I can cut the end plug off my s4 dashboard wiring harness and put a s5 end on it? Because I am doing a s5 swap.

Thanks

You could put a series five plug on and reroute/repin the wires from the series four FRONT (DID I SAY ...FRONT HARNESS) to that plug. But you would NEED to look at both the series four and series five wiring diagrams, plus both series four and seried five FSM Fuel and Emissions sections in order to get the right wires to the right sockets in the series five plug.

It's been done before. I believe $Lucius wrote about it a couple of years ago. But you wouln't understand what he wrote until you read both wiring diagrams and had some familiarity with both wiring diagrams. Really not that big a deal, but something you'd have to come to grips with. I know I could do it, but then if I can do it, Anybody can do it.

In fact I think a fellow in the Caribbean (sp?) did that last year.
