Dashboard curling up

The padding thats above the gauges and just behind the hard plastic surround is peeling and curling up. I'm looking for a way to fix this without replacing the whole dash. I thought about using some adhesive and clamping it down somehow until it dries. Has anyone had this problem?

No. But to add, you may want to use a hair dryer to atleast flatten It so It will stay downward than use an adhesive (epoxy-5) to create a permenant mount.

And after your done order one of those velvett/carpet dash cover. Looks good, doesn't fade, cuts down on glare, made to order, custom made.

There's several out there, and www.victoriabritish.com resells them. What you don't get victoriabritish's quarterly rx-7 parts magazine for free?? - Then go ORDER ONE NOW for free on their website.

I hate those carpet dash covers. I've always felt that they made the interior of a car hideous, but that's my opinion of course. I'm quite surprised you have a problem with your dash, as all the FC's I've seen have had perfect dashes, except for those damned defroster vents. It might be worthwhile picking up a nice used one from the junkyard and swapping it in. It'll be a pain in the *** to remove and install the dashboards, but the end result will be worth it. It might even be worthwhile to switch over to the coveted black interior while you're at it.

$100-$150 for a perfect condition one. I'd imagine shipping would run about $100, so it'd be worthwhile to pick it up.
