dash wiring harness

Hey guys, my first fc here and on the weekend I decided to do a dash swap because I wanted to switch it from blue to black. I have a 1988 turbo 2 and did the swap with a 1986 n/a.
I kept the harness from my turbo 2 and just put it in the black dash put everything back together and now the car wont start. Im pretty sure I have everything hooked up the way it should. Is there anything specific that comes to mind that would cause it not to start? An important wire I missed?
I do have spark, I checked that and the motor spins to but it just wont start.
any ideas? this is my dd and need to figure it out asap.

Perhaps the engine is flooded. And do you have fuel flow w/key to start? There is a relay to the right of the steering wheel that is Yellow and Black. The top right wire is Blue/Red. This wire sends voltage to a fuel relay which then powers the fuel pump. Does this Blue/Red wire have power w/key to start? If you jumpered the fuel check connector and turned the key to on you would hear the fuel pump engage.

I tried pulling the spark plugs and letting it sit overnight. they weren't even wet. I also have a fuel cut switch in the car which I used to need to use to start the car sometimes.
Ill have to check what your mentioning. so if I turn the key and don't hear the fuel pump then that might be the problem?
