I would like to know this as well. Mine sometimes flicker and it has gotten dimmer since I first bought the car (I've seen it dim and never get brighter again while driving). I figure it is a cruddy grounding connection, but I don't know where to look for it. I'm going to get around to fixing it eventually though, it's at a comfortable intensity at the brightest setting right now.

Re-ground the car, getting an Optima battery, and an FD alternator. No more dim problems

Mine had a small flicker in it as well.

Actually turned out to be that my alt. belt was to tight and slipping. It also did it when I very first got it and dropped in the motor and that was a totally dead alt.

Few things I did and fixed it.

If you look at the top of the forum, at the 'stickies', you will see a post about FD Alt's for sale. Get one. As for regrounding, I heard Kevin Lander's (RotaryResurrection) make's his own, and it's quite a good quality. I'm not sure if he markets them, without rebuilding. But it's worth to ask.

EDIT: Order you're FD Alt SOON as SilverRotor will be stopping supply of them come September 1st. I know I'm going to order my own tonight

Although it could be your grounds...I highly doubt it and I would check other more obvious things first. I bet your headlight switch is going/loose. Take out your headlight switch and see if you can see any burn marks at the connector.
