Arrow Damned car wont start again.

Guys,

If u remember i had a hard time getting my s5 na vert swap into my s5 coupe swap to start. Come to find out the fuel return and supply were backwards. I got it to start and even drove it a short distance before I realised I had forgot to tighen the lugnuts down.

I turned the car off and drove it back down the street (very short trip, half a block) and started working on the brakes. I put the car back down and wheels on and it wont start.

So I am thinking it must be flooded from the short drive. I defloood, deflood and deflood and nothing. I pull the spark plugs out, I clean them off, get all the fuel and gunk off them and still nothing.

I got a turkey baster and put some oil in the chambers and still didnt do ****. Oddly when i was removing the plugs it seemed as if I was hitting my arm on something removing them and I could hear something pressurising on the injector side of the car as my arm was bumping into something. I tried to repeat it to no avail. Any ideas guys?

jumper the fuel pump check connector on the passenger side shock tower, then try to start. then you know the fuel pump is running.

soaked in gas means its flooded.

Pull the plugs, kill the fuel and crank it to clear everything out. You probably have a leaking injector that is flooding the engine.

ice I pulled the plugs and cranked it without them and if i remember i killed the fuel and still I had a smokey mist coming from the engine. I cleaned all of the plugs off as well before i put them back in. The engine always ran fine in the other car, never did this so it is install related. I will try that again tomorow and see what I can come up with.

Pull the Egi Fuse and crank with Plugs out.Roll over about 5 seconds,Put a Tablespoon of oil into One of the plug holes n Each rotor, and just roll it over about Twice,By hand if you can.Put the Plugs back in(and the EGI fuse)..If it was flooded,it should at least give you some Sign that it will fire up..That is if nothing else is the culprit.I've used this Method and it does Work.If it doesn't do it the first time, check the plugs again after the second try,for Wetness.IF it is REALLY flooded then you have your Problem part Narrowed down.Bad injector.

If all else fails, get someone to tow you slowly (about 25-20mph) while you gently let off the clutch in 2nd gear. With fresh plugs, fuel, air, and spark, it *WILL* start.

it worked. I have never seen it flooded that bad but i did pull all of the plugs, egi fuse and cranked it until i saw no more mist coming from the engine and then stuck some oil in one of the chambers. It fired right up and everything looks cool. Thanks guys.
