Did ur "low on gas" buzzer go off?

But ya as mentioned above i think u had some kind of vac leak, then just flooded the car. Whenever my car floods (which is every gotdamn day at work now), i smell a bit of gas when go to pull the fuses. Check all the intake hoses and pray to god one of them just fell off. At least that way u can go home tonight.

damn just get some gas and see if it solves your problem. You're going to need to fill up anyway. So you cranked the car with the rad cap off and coolant came shooting out? Looks like your coolant seals are gone. If it really is your coolant seals and water is leaking into the engine you can cause alot more damage as well. Water doesnt compress very well and could bust all the seals.

problem solved im at home now and also a retard lol.

well as for my ongoing coolent problem.
1 nooo smoke at start up
2 no gysering or bubling at start up
3 car has not once over heated
BUT
1gyser when the engine is cool and the lower rad cap is uncapped
2 over flow keeps filling

-what ever it is.well its pumping coolent out and not sucking back in

Q- can a bad rad cause this?
Q or if there is any large air pockets in the rad, can the air expand and push coolent out?( and yes i do know the its pressurized and stuff compresses)....but anything can happen right?

i mean take what just happen not even an hour ago. something stupid and ideodic popped up and smacked me in the face.

what do you think?

is your radiator cap new? the cap does 2 functions, release pressure at a set point and also allows coolant back in under vacuum, if one of these parts of the cap is stuck or not operating properly it can cause a problem like this.

second, the lower radiator cap (pressure cap) is a low point so it is going to geyser when you take it off, open the upper one to see if there is actually any pressure still in the system. there shouldn't be any after the engine has been sitting for overnight or at least for more than a few hours.

usually there is a bit....ill check or replace the caps. so it could be being forced out by the pressure and not being let back in due to lack of a vacuum....KICK ***

oh and yeah just put a lil gas in her and she fired right up
