hmm..have you tried replacing the float/sensor on the fuel pump assy?

speaking of fuel gauge...does anyone know why (at least 91 NA's do) the fuel gauge stays at its position whether the car is on or off?

I solved my gauge problems by removing the cluster, cleaning the connections and tightening the grounds on the back..
