Angry Damn diff bolt!

Finally my turbo build is days away from drving just needs to be tuned a little and i cant take the damn diff bolt off to drain the fluid to put some new redline in. So far ive tried with a socket but its too stripped no socket will fit. Tried with some vice grips and a hammer and still no luck. Anybody got any better ideas besides trying to heat up the bolt and turning it out because i have no torch?

If you've got a spare bolt, you can try the hammer/chisel approach.

Or if you have a welder tack a piece of metal on the drain bolt that you CAN grip with the vice grips.

P.S. make sure you can open the fill plugs before draining.

Is it rounded off or what?

If you are careful, you can grind it back down to a lower sized hex head with a hand heald dremel. Be very ******* careful though.

I have done this a few times before and it isn't easy, but not totally undoable.
