The fuel pump is very simple. There's a cover under the hatch carpet.
Remove panel.
Disconnect fuel pump harness from driver side shock tower (If you plan on doing this anywhere away from the car).
Remove hoses connected, be very careful.
Remove screws holding the pump cover on, make SURE you're using the correct phillips screwdriver or you will strip the **** out of them, helps to wd40 them and clean the screws of rust out with a utility knife.
Voila the pump is out, be careful taking it out there's a couple rods and such connected.
From there it's self explanatory. If your screws were very rusty then replace with M4x8 I believe it's, could be wrong. If i'm wrong, bring your screws and match them up to a metric size, don't use standard.
As for cleaning out the tank. Can't help you there as i've never done it, and hope I never have to.

thank u for the help wit taken the pump out but to clean it people at a local auto parts place told me to fill it to the top wit water than drain it all out an that use some kind or water remover after i was done... i really dont want to fill it with water that could cause some problems... so i really need help with this
