D.I.Y Front lip (Part 1)

When I 1st got my S4 Sev it had a finish line front a rear buuuut.....one of the previous owners saw fit to take to it with a air-hacksaw in aid of creating a large eye sore hole for his intercooler. So I decided i would take my 2cm original lower lip and use that as the template for a lower lip and cut up my finishline lower half.

I cable tied the crap out of it to get it the right shape and the next step is to send it to a company called "bumper replacements" and get them to join it all nicely (normally I would plastic weld my own stuff but it's made of some weird plastic like the factory front bumper is) I will post more pics when it comes back and then when it's all painted and dummy fitted again. Lemme know what you think

there are already alot of options out there rather then spending the time and money to have someone customize a diy job.

Not in nz. Unless I want to pay 400 plus bucks to get one sent from Oz. Or buy a body kit. (Not my thing) which all we can get is drift style. and im not keen on fibre glass getting smashed into a thousand peices.Fc sevens are like the forgotten child here

it was a test fit of it to make sure it was long enough and fit well enough before i sent it to be welded together. its made of seven separate peices btw.

Before drifting took over the US, pig nose 240's could be had for $200-300. Now you shell huge money for them.
