Question Cutting the wiring harness: trying to clean stuff up.

ok, a while back i got rid of the solenoid rack and solenoids near the dynamic chamber. there still is a huge gob of wires just haning around there, that were solely for the emissions solenoids. I want to get rid of them. I need some advice. Could i just disconnect the battery and snip those wires then crimp and throw them all into a wiring cap? i don't know their technical name, but im sure somone can figure it out.

You are better just tapeing off the extra wires than cutting the harness up.

Or replace the harness with a custom one that you build without the extra wire (but it always seems like you could use and extra two wires for some new add-on part or sensor).

hmmm.. maybe ur right, i wouldn't want to regret it, but i doubt they could be used for anything, i was just wondering if they could touch or not ( the bare wires)
