cutting off the coolant buzzer
i know is stupid to cut it off, but i figure out there was no cooling issue but it just goes on and on, i try to bleed it and still happen, how do i get rid of the noise and can i just cut the line and stop making that very annoying buzzer. thanks help me out
Um, the sensor is in the top of the rad. Make a wire with an eyelet on one side and the proper bullet connector on the other side. Attach the eyelet to ground and unplug the sensor and plug in your new wire.
Theres a sensor on the top of the radiator.. Right in the middle. Should have a wire with a plug on it. This plug should be plugged into another wire that gets routed over to the passenger side strut tower. If this is not hooked up, hook it up and the buzzing should go away. If its hooked up and the buzzer still goes off, go to an auto parts store and try to find a bullet connector that looks like it will fit into the plug coming from the wire from pass side strut tower. You will also need a foot or 2 of wire and a ring connector. Take your wire that you bought. Strip both ends. Put the ring connector on one side, the bullet connector on the other. Plug the bullet connector into the plug coming off the pass side strut tower and then find a nice place to ground the ring connector to.
If its still buzzing after that the wire to the CPU (I'm pretty sure it goes to the CPU and not the ECU) may be bad or the CPU may just have a problem. Easy solution beyond that is probably to cut out the buzzer.

It's a ton easier to just ground the sensor and then you will still have a working shift and oil buzzer. I really can't stress enough that you should fix the problem and have a working buzzer that could save your engine and has saved many in the past.

Note that the buzzer will also sound on a low oil condition. Make sure your oil level is high and that the sender is working.
Honestly why not just bleed the system properly? Without that buzzer, you WILL lose the engine when the driver side heater hose fails.
