Cut out at 8000RPM?
Very recently, it has happened three times. I take it up to 7800-8000, no over revving, and the RPMS just quickly fall to ZERO. It can be easily started back up again, no smoke or anything...
I've tested this about 6 times, and 3 out of the 6 it cut off. It's also kinda has that left-turn cut off also, from the tank not funnelling enough fuel (not on right turns) -- has anyone had the 8000rpm cut off? May there be a problem???
Thanks guys, I appreciate it.

does the car actually shut off? Like you have to turn the key to start it again? or does it just stop getting power and then goes again without really doing anything to fix it.
If the car just cuts power and then goes again, its you fuel pump pre-filter. If you don't have much gas in your tank you will be sure to notice this more than normal. You can pull the pre filter out and use some carb cleaner on it to fix this or you can just get a new fuel sock.
If the car actually turns off and needs to be restarted, I have no idea what's wrong with it.
Good luck.

This doesn't sound like the problem, but there is a chance: When I had my mustang, the thing that controls the operation of the alternator was screwed up, so sometimes it wouldn't charge correctly. A lot of times, when I revved it high up, it would cut out on me and the car would stumble.

Hmmm --
Well, it actually turns off to where I have to start it again...
Other times, on left turns, it just cuts power off for a second. BUT, I have been noticing that it's doing it more frequently on left turns, doing it when I have more and more gas in the tank... It used to be when I had 1/4 tank on hard left turns really... but now I have a little over a half and it's doing the same thing on soft left turns. I recently had a new fuel filter put in about 3 months ago...

yeah ive had this problem too. at high flow rates (high rpm) and left turns the prefilter can keep the pump from getting enough supply. i think ther is a good writup in the archive on how to clean it. should fix the problem.
