If you want to have your ports open up then you will need to have some way to activate them, it could be using back pressure from the exhaust, switching to the electrical way(dono how i got a s4 too) running them off vacuim, or just wiring them open. It prob is best to keep emissions stuff just in case, but if you dont need it go ahead and get rid of it. It will be loud and most likely hurt your ears but hey, you should get use to it or go deaf, one of the other. lol. But good luck with that.
Also, you should see if its cheaper to get some pipe from the muffler shop or to go to a store. I went to summit racing and got 4feet of straight pipe and a J-bend for 32bucks. All i gotta do is cut and weld. hehe bump muffler shops!

Well just spend the extra cash and go RB like me! Its worth it. If you really want to go custom just search for what you need. That is what the search feature on the forum is for. Plus what it sounds like you want to do, it will be extremely loud which equals

burned bumpers, tickets, complaints, hearing aids, you'll be single for ever and neighbors will call the police (had that happen to me multiple times)

yes. But it will take custom ingenuity. You can create electronic openers, vacuum controlled openers, or buy an actual after-market exhaust. My advise is don't be a cheap *** and do it right the first time. Save a little bit more cash and save yourself some money in the long run. And no serious RX7 owner enjoys seeing a chopped up and glued together RX7.

So, do it right and get paid for it. And I have to strongly disagree with 13bChris that your RX7 has to be loud and won't get you girls. Mine was loud because I liked it that way and I was never without ***** when I had my GTU. And it was ugly as hell for an RX7.

get a high flow cat or a test pipe off ebay. its like 40shipped for a test pipe that has the pipe to work the aux ports.

i cant afford a street beat exhaust..im 19 and just got married and have little money and im in the process of getting my gf legal which takes alot of money so i dont have enough money for a street beat exhaust....i dont care if its loud;...id like for it to be loud..doesnt bother me..and we not emissions or anything where i live so it doesnt matter how loud it is....

is this the kind of test pipe i would need so that the ports would open up from exhaust pressure?
