Custom Engine Mounts

Im tickling the idea of putting an REW (fd engine) in my FC Vert. But the hardest thing so far would be the engine mounts. Does any company fab these up for cheap? If I do tis I will use all the stcok parts, with a stand alone ECU. So if anyone knows a good place to egt these afbbed up please post a link. Aslo, I know what goesin to a 3rd gen swap so please dont flame. Thanks for the help

I would be least worried about the motor mounts.

Go 13b-RE, there is a bracket sold by fc3s.org and K2RD. That should work like a charm. You will have a much easier time with the RE over the REW.

Good luck, and do a thorough search as there have been a ton of posts on the issue.

nobody makes mounts. only seen that swap a few times. the FD engine is barly better then the S5 one. not woth the effort. if you want to do something different get the 13b re. couple places make mounts for those for a few hundred.

Have to agree w/ above remarks. REW motor is not going to give you much other than headaches and grief during the swap. RE has much more potential IMO. Do an RE swap or if you simply want a turbo, just swap in a 13bt motor from a TII.
