quick question. i am in fort walton beach, fl does anybody know anyone who can make a custom 3.90 final drive gear for a TURBO rear end. i got this turbo swap going on on this vert and i am currently build up the rear end, so far i got a kaaz 1.5 way lsd, chromoly axles, and a cf drive shaft. i have driven tII with the standard 4.10 ratio and i think it feels too short. i am shooting for 350-400 at the wheels and would like to have some traction in first gear, so i think a 3.90 would do me well. this vert will see very little, if any track time so i am not really concerned with 1/4 mile times. the car will be mainly a weekend highway cruiser, and 3.90 would help the gas consumption. any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

It's common to take a short pinion gear and graft in a section for use in the NA diff. There are several shops that perform the mod and it's required to get a deep gear for 2nd gen road race cars. I have a 5.12 setup for my ITS car in this manner. The same operation MAY be able to be performed for the TII diff using an FD gear set. But I have no idea if the pinion gear is compatible between the two housing. I have a 3.90 gear set from an FD I'd sell pretty cheap and you can contact ISC Racing to do the mod. PM me if interested.
