CURIOUS, I have noticed that all underhood

On every FC I have ever seen I have noticed that they all have the same worn spots on the liner as mine, right around the throttle and a couple of other minor wears and tears. I suppose that this is one of those common things to all cars. But my question is, is there any way to prevent further damage to the liner?

Just curious, where could i get a replacement liner for my hood? The previous owner ripped it out, and the extra heat is starting to dull the paint on my hood.

Doesn't bother me, does it bother you? Why should I replace it, the new one will look the same in a year or so? I was just wondering if anyone has any good suggestions on how to limit the damage. Do you have any suggestions? If not, no need to reply.
