C's short shifter specs

Hey all,

I bought a C's short shifter and have been using it for quite some time. I was wondering if anyone out there knows of or has the details of the screw threads.

What i have on there right now is one of those oem asian aftermarket replacement ***** - basically you find in any Pepboys/Trak Auto/Parts America. It's a plastic piece you slide over the top covering the original threads. You pick which one that fits the closest and then you put the replacement **** on top and use screws or whatever the kit comes and screw them all together. I would prefer to actually have a legit **** that will use the actual threads.

Any help would be appreciative. Thanks

The brand name is actually called "C's" and I bought it off of ebay. Mazdatrix.com also sells their short shifter of similiar design. I found out that the guy selling the shifter lived in the same state as I lived, so i saved myself some $ on shipping and handling. He was cool and cut a 10-20$ off the top. As for quality or functionality and determining who is better, I wouldn't know - but having a short shifter in the car makes a world of difference.

Hope that helps you.

Thanks.

Unfortunately, the original FC **** won't fit. It's actually too big for the shifter. He ended up using electrical tape and taping the threads and then screwing the original **** on it.

YF19: Bring your car by the garage and I'll use the thread gauge on it.
