C's short shifter specs
Hey all,
I bought a C's short shifter and have been using it for quite some time. I was wondering if anyone out there knows of or has the details of the screw threads. What i have on there right now is one of those oem asian aftermarket replacement knobs - basically you find in any Pepboys/Trak Auto/Parts America. It's a plastic piece you slide over the top covering the original threads. You pick which one that fits the closest and then you put the replacement knob on top and use screws or whatever the kit comes and screw them all together. I would prefer to actually have a legit knob that will use the actual threads. Any help would be appreciative. Thanks |
Whats The Brand Name And Where Did You Get The Short Shifter?

regular FC shifter/knob threads are either 10x1.25 for S5 or 12x1.5 for S4

Unfortunately, the original FC knob won't fit. It's actually too big for the shifter. He ended up using electrical tape and taping the threads and then screwing the original knob on it. |
YF19: Bring your car by the garage and I'll use the thread gauge on it.
