ok i figured out this part on my car is the cruise control but why does adjusting it adjust the idle of the car? (note cruise does not work)

aslo my last vacuum leak is on the BAC so it should be pretty easy to fix

 

because it is attached to the gas pedal and if u adjust it then u are appling pressure to the pedal givign it a bit of gas!

 

well the car wont run without it so it needs whatever amount of gas its giving it.god i just wish i could go back a month an a half in time an kick myself till i couldnt walk so this never would of happened
