A list of all of their various turbos?

I'm not sure what you're referring to unless you're still confusing that there are multiple variations of the GT40, of which they should have a suffix. If it's a ball bearing, it's a GT40R. If it has the 88 compressor, it's a GT4088. GT40 by itself generally refers to the GT4082.

*foot in mouth*

I diddnt even see that there was not an "r"....My mistake!!! The price tag makes more sense now but that still seems pretty low. Hey, atleast this one is rebuildable if it eats the seals, wont need a new CHRA

Couldnt find a compressor map for the GT40 but did find the turbine map
http://www.atpturbo.com/root/maps/gt40turbine.htm

and here is what you own

Yup , it is just a regular Gt40 not the ballbearing one. The reason for the price is a few of the larger trucks use them as standard equipment and thus they show up on ebay for a cheaper price than the regular ones. As I've said before two other friends have purchased new GT40s straight from Garret via JGY customs and we compared this one to theirs and its exactly the same, other than theirs being a bit smaller , I think .80 some AR wise. So unless its a damn good fake this thing is real.

In the end the whole point of this thread was to make sure all the supporting mods were there and to get feedback on anything else that we missed or did not consider so please comment on that and not the validity of the turbo.

Wow thanks for taking the time to stop by and gracing me with your knowledge, real help to the discussion at hand next time dont bother with the reply button just press back. Karmas a bitch and so is Anti-Apex Seal Syndrome.

Engine goes kaboom even if the seals enter the turbo and **** it up , a turbo rebuild is what a few hundred bucks , still better than taking the time and money to rebuild the engine which is what atleast a grand +. Boo hoo lesson learned and a time for bigger and better things aka a streetport.

Everyone else thanks for the replies, keep 'em coming.
