As well as the normal siren under the bonnet, I have a 130dB piezo siren way up under the dash. That really hurts...

You can get the faceplate off any old stock, crappy looking radio, and clip it over your aftermarket stereo so that it looks as if your old looking car is carrying an old looking stereo that isn't worth stealing.

this thread reminds me of robocop 3, and they have those messed up commercials, and one has an anti-theft system that grabs the guys ********* with a robotic arm and sqeezes.

but i think some sort of cut off switch would be the best, something before the steering column wires, so that the thief cannot hotwire the car, and will be confused. as for the stereo, take off your faceplate..i do

I used to have a fuel kill switch on my FB and a Mercedes 300E I had back in the early 90's. Several times the fuel pumped got turned off on my fb, just turned it back on within a minute and nothing happen.

I was thinking about a wrist rocket with marbles! There is a son of a bitch in my neighorhood that broke into one of my cars and stole the stereo and also stole gas out of my truck. Can't prove it. But he parts his van by my house. What goes around comes around.

Install hydraulics. Rig it so the car hops madly upon break-in.

Honestly, w/ wheel locks....there is no way that a thief would try to take your car. They may laugh at your car, because they think parking/law enforcement immobilized your vehicle. But, they will not take a car that has a "law enforcement" type of device on it. Because they will think that the cops put that device on your car for a reason (like excessive outstanding tickets, etc.).

Looks funny. Yes. But, odds are, your car will not be stolen or messed with.

In Canada, you are legally allowed to go one level below their actions.

meaning, If he has a knife you can use your fists, if he has a bat you can use a knife, etc etc.

But if someone verbally threatens your life you can citizens arrest them and subdue them however necessary(ie knock them out) until the cops come. Thats cool!!!

haha word, hopefully all the white smoke would scare the guy away
but then its a problem for you when u want to leave again

also does parking in the middle of nowhere really help form people stealing your cars? it seems it just makes your car more visible

if there was a way to lock the pedals, that would be great...maybe have some device that goes under it...

there was that one thing back then that shot a skrew or metal piece into the persons crotch when they pressed the pedal...but might backfire

how about some sort of way to lock the ebrake?

take off his wheel nuts on one side of the car so they pop off when he's driving and it might flip over

yeah just flood the engine, that should keep your car there............lol

btw, siren in the dash idea sounds great might try that on my next car

thieves can just use vice grips to steer instead of a steering wheel. I think there is a special removable steering wheel that makes it difficult to use vice grips though.
