crazy port question

i was wondering if i had my motor rebuilt and ported, very large port, prephial, or bridge with turbo rotors, and is balanced for higher rpms like 10 to 12 thousand, oh and it would be carbed. would it be possible to run a supercharger with those high of rpms or would it be pointless. if so ill just stick to staying as an n/a.
thanks

I don't think that's the appropriate question.

The appropriate question is whether or not you are willing to dump $15K into this build. Otherwise it's just a waste of time to consider it.

Why do you want to rev so much? If you are simply looking to generate a lot of power, it can be more easily accomplished with forced induction or N20. You can have a less radical port and you wouldn't need to rev so high.

If you were staying n/a I don't know why you would consider turbo rotors?

because i would want to run forced induction with a super charger, the main question is could a super charge handle the higher rpms or would it be too much for it.

most chargers are built for low end umph not 12k pulls, most will not be able to spin that high unless you underdrive it and then it defeats the purpose.

Aaron asks the real question here.

If you are going to spend that kind of cash then you can make a blower work.

this is a pointless thread.

If my FC has a flux capacitor can I travel back in time?

Only if you load it with trash from the local public, make sure you rub one off in it for good lube to "slip" back into the butthole, oops i mean the future.

And about the supercharger, it's concievable if you're willing to spend the money. And well if you spend that much money on something like that then you must be smoking some good ****.

just wondering, i was wanting to build a high rpm engine and was planning on running a carb set up and was thinking that they make the super charge for the 4 port engine and was wondering if it was even worth it.

My friend Glen races his 90 N/A Rx7 here in Canada. He converted to carb, prephial ported his among other mods. Man he's pushing close to 300 hp. It sounds sick when he's hitting 10-12 rpm. You can check out his build up at http://www.canadiankustoms.com/ once at page click on "Eccentric" Motorsports. It's pretty sweet he's come along way. In his basement he has around 6 esentric shafts and spare everything, thats where I go for parts lol. Anyways if you plan on doing that plus forced induction, i wouldn't recomend for sreet use, damn loud plus hard to idle.
