Well, rice I must disagree with. I think the lack of a wing, stickers, altezzas, fake BOV, etc makes it quite un-rice IMO. Also, looks more Ferrari than anything. Toss a RE Amemiya tuned 20B in there, and that would be one hell of a drop top.

I find it an interesting blend of over the top styling and preserving stock styling cues.
I really dislike non funtional vents, like infront of the rear tires- poser

yeah... I think it's a little much... I like the clean lines of the RX-7, if you want to enhance them with flares etc. thats cool... but the huge vents and stuff just look silly.... and that front end looks too big...

I can understand running aftermarket bumpers...but that one just looks kinda silly..

....and besides, if I had a monster 20B FC, I would want it to look like a 20B FC, not a ferrari wannabe!

That looks really neat. I wouldn't mind having a car that looked like that. You could cut actual holes in the vents to maybe let air go through for less resistance at higher speeds?

Looks like a parasite, a leech or something.
And I remember this car (different picture I believe) from Vaughnc's collection of jap bodykits.

Looks kinda cheesy. Much like the Strossek kits for the 911/928 back in the 80s, it looks okay in a picture, but up close they look tacky and unrefined. Even with a professional installation, the cars I have seen with these kits look worse with them than without them.

My 1/2 nickel, of course.

If it is a toy, the guy on the websit in Jpan didn't know that, and someone spent a LOT of $$$ and time on it. I still say it is cool.

God, from all the damn peice of **** body kits I've seen, that's isn't too bad.
I HAAAAATE body kits. I seriously have an unnatural aversion to them. Why? Because they ALWAYS look like that are a goddamn duct tape add-on to the car.
If the car looks better with the kit on, why didn't it come that way in the firt place
That's my point.

This kit actually doesn't look like it's attached with double sided tape. It is actually pretty nice, agressive and modern- While maintaining a sense of the proper FC shape. I DON'T like the side vents, they should be a different style, but they would probably grow on me. I definately approve of this kit!
One thing though- The suspension geometry is completely f&*(ed up now. Look at the offset of the wheels!! That's a lot more leverage on the springs and such.
Oh well.

I will stop bashing all the body kits now, because when I get into it, I don't stop. They all look like crap that you can tell they OBVIOUSLY are an add on. Why? Because they don't blend in with the vehicle. Why? Because too many kids like big damn wings and (cringe) sheet metal spoilers just slapped on the f*!@ing car, even if they don't even come close to matching, improving, or complementing the car they are on. Stupid.
Uhh, I'm done.

The car IS NOT A TOY. I've seen this car time and time again in Option magazine, and also in the videos. It's actually an old picture of it. It looks a little different now. The old man that owns it looks crazy! If I remember correctly, its running a 13B-REW
