cracked hose

cracked hose

I need a quick fix untill i figure out how im going to remove n replace a hose. Its the coolant hose just near the motor right hand side near bottom, gotta crack right b4 clamp...is there a patch i can pick up or something i can make? it got duct tape i can drive with that but it still leaks pretty bad. and it monday so parts stores near me r closed. I have a funny feeling its gonna have to b ordered so thats y i need a quick fix for now.

DUCT TAPE?!?

Sounds like the classic heater hose failure. As a stop gap, just cut the cracked part off and then reclamp.

still leaks...i used it yesterday if i sit for like 40 min all my coolant + my reserve will b gone

ha...didnt c the rest of ur post....idk if the hose will have enough t o bend liek that

I'm not sure I understand you as you seem to be using a strange form of English I don't recognize...I'll try to translate so I can answer your question...

I think this means:

"Ha...Didn't see the rest of your post. I don't know if the hose will have enough left to bend like that."

If that's your question, then all I can suggest is to try. If there isn't enough hose left, then any auto parts store will have some generic heater hose in the correct size (bring the old one) which will do the job.
