crack on radiator

crack on radiator

this is the stock black radiator and it has a crack on the top part, i dont have any money to fix this yet so i need a temporary fix, i was thinking of some JB weld, what do u guys think?

Or epoxy.. But that radiator is toast. Expect catastrophic failure soon..

ahh crap, looks like imma have to go shopping again, whats the best bang for your buck radiator, a good decent one on the market right now?

Those plastic end tanks are not repairable if it has a crack. It may last you a few miles if you JG Weld it but will explode when it can't handle the pressure.
Try a junk yard if you can't afford a new one. Local radiator shops should have the stocks ones really cheap and it will be all metal.

mazdaracing has a "good as oem" (or something like that) radiator.

i have a decent condition (i think S4) radiator i'm gonna be selling, but its not new. its off my S5, but i'm quite sure its an S4.

yah but junkyards have cars that have sat for a while, for sure the radiators will be all rusted up inside and are either clogged/blocked. if the junkyard sell them really cheap i might give it a try. thanks for all ur inputs!

Easy way to tell if it's S4 or S5: Does it have a cap on it?

whoever decided that a plastic end radiator was a good idea is a friggin moron. oh and like those guys said, any fix you get will be very temporary until it cracks more/again.

I used JB and expoxy, they both lasted about 3 miles then pssssssss...
