crack in manifold

well, planning to buy an s5 turbo manifold and the seller tells me there is a hairline crack about 1/4" long. seems real miniscule(sp?) to me, but is there some kind of sealant(sp?) or something I can use that will realistically(sp?) help me, or is the manifold doomed and I should keep looking.

I'm pretty sure its normal for the manifolds to have a few hairline cracks after so many years.
