RotaryResurrection - I try and put studs in every motor I built
scrip7 - all S4 no this motor also was reused housings but with no scoring or chattering with very minimal blemishing or color distortion.

Very nice! Thats a color scheme you dont see often. What color blue is that? Comes off very metallic, almost like an anodized color.

It is a metallic blue I spray sikens paint. the color is actual a Mazda factory color I think its 2Bh

If my car wasnt red I would copy you on that color, but blue and red dont match to me. Sikens, must be an overseas brand? Never heard of it

Something I've always been curious about the stud kits is how are they tested for thermal expansion? The stock tension bolts are almost spring steel to keep even tension on the stack as the engine heat cycles, but most aftermarket stud kits are stainless, chrome moly, etc.
